Vehicle Detail
**Ebay removed the original listing because THEY populated an entirely different VIN number and then refused to change it when I reported the issue. I apologize for this, and so I'm relisting as a 5 day to make up for lost time. Hopefully everything goes smoothly this time.** Please read the entire description as I will give a full disclosure as to any issues with the car, and explain why I'm starting the bidding so low. First and foremost, yes it is a running, driving, reliably starting and stopping vehicle. However, it is throwing a code for the mass airflow sensor, which usually relates to the intercooler needing to be replaced. This is not a hard or particularly expensive fix. However, and this leads me to my reason for selling, I am moving to northern Michigan for work, and already have another car suited for the climate. This is a recreational vehicle to me. I'm closing on my house in the next couple of weeks, and between closing costs and what I would like to do with the house, sacrifices must be made. So I've decided to offer it up cheap in light of the engine light, and because I want to sell it fast, in time to help towards closing costs. So I've decided it's in my best interest to take a big hit and list it low. That being said, I put together a video doing a walk around, showing the code being scanned, and driving the vehicle, both before and after the reduced boost condition associated with the code. You can view that here : https://youtu.be/gjfBEdkEJWc More on the code, so basically every time you start the car, it has full turbo boost. But after a while of driving around, the code causes the car to go into what is referred to among other solstice/sky guys as "limp mode lite" which essentially electronically limits the boost pressure. This is totally safe for the engine, just obviously slower. Turn off the car, start it again, full boost... So with that out of the way, let's get on with the rest. 2007 Solstice GXP 5spd manual 104,800 miles on the odometer. Just replaced the spark plugs, brake pads, and rotors. Performance drilled and slotted rotors. Transmission shifts smoothly between gears, and clutch feels great. Blows cold A/C and hot heat. Turbo spools up as it should. Aftermarket android radio with nav, pandora, SD card reader, WiFi, bluetooth, and the app store. Cruise control and auto lights. Lightning dark LED headlight kit (very impressed with these) and LED tail lights. Solo dual center exhaust with matching painted rear valance from solo. Top functions correctly. Mobile 1 synthetic always used over the course of my ownership. Bought from dealership in 2015. Was stored in climate controlled unit from 2015-2017. Only driven 4 weeks a year each year when I came home on leave. Was used as daily driver all of summer 2018. MAF issue arose around the middle of summer. Coincidentally after I used MAF cleaner to clean it, however, I still believe it's likely the intercooler based on what I've read. I really just need to concentrate of moving and closing on my house. One less thing to worry about moving and storing. If there is anything that I neglected to mention, please message me and I will get back to you as soon as I can. I hate to sell it, but priorities.
