NO RESERVE AUCTION Up for sale is a gorgeous, extremely rare, two owner 2001 F250 Platinum 4x4 crew cab, short bed, V8 7.3 Powerstroke, automatic, with 138k original miles! Meticulous maintenance records going back to 2001, including the original window sticker. And a perfect, no accident, Carfax. This truck has been pampered and garaged it's whole life. Never been outside of Texas and Arizona so totally rust free (frame still has some chalk marks.) Both prior owners were retirees who took care of this truck on a level I've rarely seen. The maintenance records are unbelievably thorough (see pics.) They’re sorted by owner and in perfect chronological order! This is without a doubt one of cleanest late model 7.3’s on the road today. Mechanically the truck is, as you'd imagine, perfect. No issues. Starts right up every time, no smoke. Engine sounds great and is incredibly clean (see pic.) Completely stock with the exception of Banks ram air intake. Shifts beautifully, goes into 4x4 and 4x4 low very smooth. AC blows cold and heat works well. Tires look great, plenty of tread. Manual locking hubs. Exterior is in amazing condition considering the age of the truck. Beautiful Platinum package badges, lights and color scheme give it a modern aggressive look (pics don't do it justice.) This truck flat out turns heads. It is 17+ years old, and the paint is original, so it has a couple small scratches, rock chips, and dings... But no blemish is big enough to see from more than 20 feet away. It's exactly what you'd expect from an extremely well cared for, garaged and pampered truck of this age. Chrome bumpers are straight and shine like new. Rhino lined bed has a unique luster which gives the truck a very high end feel, never had gooseneck or fifth wheel. Tailgate looks excellent. Interior is in show room condition. It looks like it was barely used. With the exception of the leather seats, which have age creases but no rips or tears, almost no wear is visible. Carpet is in great shape and headliner looks new. Platinum logo floor mats are pristine. Zero dash cracks, all instruments work perfectly including Alpine sound system, Viper car alarm, electric windows, cruise control, horn, lights, factory gauges and Even lumbar works. Zero smells, no pets, no smoke. Bottom line: you're just not going to find a better maintained, better looking 7.3 Ford…period. This is the one you'll want to own the rest of your life.
