Up for sale is a very nice 1972 Honda CB500 four cylinder. It does run, but won’t idle. I did ride this bike a few miles and it rode great. Then it started to run a rough. I am sure it needs a carb clean plus some fresh gas or a gas tank cleaning. It could use a little work and it will be back on the road. This bike is a one owner with 2100 original miles. It still has the original Bridgestone super speed tires. As far as I can tell this bike is completely original. The exhaust pipes are perfect without any rust holes. All electrics work as they should. Seat is perfect. It has a new battery as well. If you notice it’s clean, but not detailed. I didn’t wax it, I didn’t armor all it, and I don’t paint or touch up any finish, it’s completely original. I washed it and use a SOS pad only on the chrome. If you spent a weekend with a few beers and gave it a proper detail it would be close to showroom. You get to see it now as washed and it looks great! Imagine how nice it would be with a full detail. I am not a real Honda street bike guy so it’s up for sale. I have looked at it for a few years and never really rode it. Time to sell.
