Vehicle Detail

I bought this out of TN about 15 years ago. Since then I've driven extensively to shows, and vacations until put in storage due to other projects. Has never let me down with its bullet-proof 361ci big block, and Torqueflite transmission. The pictures I posted do not do her justice! She's been in storage for several years, and I didn't have the time the day I took these to give her a bath. Much of what appears to be rust is actually shmutz that will easily wipe off. Please look closely! THE GOOD: Has been converted to C-body front discs, dual master cylinder with proportioning valve. Rides on a '62 8 3/4 rear end with big drums. New gas tank installed as of last year. Electronic ignition, Edelbrock 4 bbl, on an Edelbrock performer RPM aluminum dual plane intake (as I recall), and dual exhaust. I would not hesitate to drive this anywhere, but as always, caveat emptor. Astro-dome dash lights up, and everything works, but the light switch is a little finicky, and must be pulled out with some care. An easy fix, but one I've never felt compelled to complete. Several trim pieces were sent out to a reputable re-plater including the rear backup light/tailfins, and brake light trim. New front bumper. Many spare odds-n-ends included along with brochures, repair manual, paint chip samples, etc. THE BAD There is a groove in the passenger side of the windshield where the wiper would drag. A spare windshield is available if you want to extract it from the car it's currently on (a 62 Chrysler 4 door). The dash is missing the padding normally found there. No glove box behind the door. Front floors had rotted, but were replaced before I bought it. Solid now, but kinda ugly underneath. Several bubbles of rust here-and-there. Most notably in the corner of the doors, and where the driver c-pillar meets the body. I don't think it's very bad, and would be a easy repair for a competent body man, but I can't be sure how extensive it truly is. I hate to part with her, but I haven't had the time to cruise with her for too long. I hope she finds a good home with people that will love her, and create as many fond memories driving her as I have. On Aug-15-18 at 13:25:22 PDT, seller added the following information: edit 1: Something that's been bugging me: In the first picture I had just opened the driver door, and didn't close it all the way. It's not misaligned! On Sep-13-18 at 05:52:19 PDT, seller added the following information: I was recently told that the windshield from a 4 door model will not fit the coupe or convertible. I haven't verified this info, but it's worth looking into if you're really interested. As it goes though, you are still welcome to the windshield if you wish
