2009 Suzuki Hayabusa Turbo *** No Reserve *** Set up for Drag Racing. Capable of 7 second ¼ mile times. Best E.T. On the bike – 7.59 at 186. This was in Pro Street competition. Weighing in, bike and rider at 675 pounds with the wheel base set to 68”. That was with 22 lb boost running C16 so there is still some more in it. When I built it, I was considering running it in the Real Street Class. All it would take to make it class legal is to reinstall the stock clutch and set the wheelbase for the rider's weight so you might need to get an arm & tail of the appropriate length depending on your size. I've mostly run it in Top Sportsman or local bracket races. The turbo makes it easy to change just how fast you want to go. Clear PA Title in my name. You could tag this thing and put it on the street if you like. Though I would not recommend that, you could get in trouble. There is only about 10 easy passes on fresh rebuild on the motor. I have run it very little over the past two years. The factory harness is in tact. Where I needed to tie in, matching connnectors were used so there is not a bunch of splices in the wiring. The pistons and exhaust have been coated by Swain Tech (swaintech.com) for reduced friction and heat control. Heat Sinks were added to the motor and air box to keep thing cool between rounds. Small fans under the body work also help to cool. Separate switches were added to run the water pump and radiator fan to cool it down after a run.
