3 DAY NO RESERVE !!!! Up for sale is my 04 bmw X5 with the 4.4 V-8 AWD with around 115,000 miles in the very limited production red exterior with black leather interior. This vehicle was in florida all its life up until around 6 months ago when we moved to west virginia. Has never seen the winter or harmful salted roads!! A little about the exterior, the paint is very glossy for its age and is the factory paint. the top of driver side fender is starting to peel (clearcoat), the back bumper as well and there is a small dent in the bottom of driver rear door. The tires are only about 30% tread life left and should be replaced soon.. The interior is black leather and in very good shape with no major defects or flaws.. all the power options work and heat and ac work as well. the navigation works, however typical to these vehicles there is 2 spots on the radio screen caused by the heat from the graphics. THE REASON IT IS BEING SOLD AT NO RESERVE!! PLEASE READ THIS !!! ABOUT A MONTH AGO I REPLACED THE BATTERY, I DONT KNOW WHAT HAPPENED BUT THE NEXT DAY THE MESSAGE BOARD ON THE DASH SAYS ENGINE FAIL SAFE MODE, IT STARTS RIGHT UP, BUT IS MISSING AND WILL NOT GO MORE THAN LIKE 5 MPH.. I AM NOT A MECHANIC AND NO LOCAL GARAGES WANT TO WORK ON BMW... PLEASE UNDERSTAND THIS IS BEING SOLD AS IS WHERE IS AND WILL NEED TO BE HAULED. IT COULD BE SIMPLE FIX OR MAYBE NOT I DONT KNOW BUT IT RAN PERFECT UNTIL REPLACING THE BATTERY.. I HAVE GOOGLED AND YOU TUBED AND TRIED TO RESEARCH MY SELF BUT I AM NOT INCLINED TO FIX IT OR DIAGNOSE IT. SO AGAIN, SOLD AS IS WHERE IS NO RESERVE..
