I recently purchased this car on ebay with the description “no issues,” but after shipping it from Las Vegas to South Carolina and inspecting the car, I found numerous issues which are listed later. The car body is sound and the driveline is good. The car has a clean Carfax and Autocheck. The paint appears to be original and shows signs of wear but is presentable at a distance as shown in the photos . The paint is not show quality. There is no evidence of rust or body damage. This car can be restored, but at 75 years of age, I am not up to it.Upon thoroughly inspecting the car I found the following issues. I cannot guarantee that the list is complete, but I want to be as honest as I can be in describing the car. The issues I found are: 1. Power steering makes loud noises 2. The engine runs rough at idle but smooth at cruising speed 3. The driver door trim has several hairline cracks in the wood trim 4. The passenger side rear window does not work but its motor runs 5. The radio does not work 6. The console wood has been painted black 7. The mirror adjust button works but button mounting is broken 8. The interior rear view mirror has no housing but works 9. The key fob does not lock the doors remotely but key and central locking work 10. The windows are supposed to crack open when door is opened and shut when door is closed. The driver side does not work this way. 11, The power antenna will not rise. probably because of the radio. 12. The power seat front to back adjustment on driver's side switch works intermittently 13. The driver and passenger seat leather is crazed but not split. Engine and drive train are goodThis car can be restored by someone wanting to put some effort into it, or it can be parted out.Car must be picked up in Aiken, SC. (I would not recommend driving the car any distance due to the power steering problem.).
