NO RESERVE! Up for sale is a gorgeous, extremely rare, ONE OWNER 1997 F250 XLT 4x4 standard cab V8 460, automatic, with 135k original miles! Meticulous maintenance records going back to 1998. And a perfect, no accident, Carfax. This truck has been pampered and garaged it's whole life. Never been outside of Tucson, Arizona so it is totally rust free. Original and only owner was a head mechanic at the local Ford dealership for 25 years. He bought the truck brand new and took care of it on a level I've never seen, the maintenance records are unbelievable. Exclusively serviced at Ford dealership (see pics.) Without a doubt one of cleanest mid 1990's trucks on the road today. To bullet proof the truck he added the following: - 4 row aluminum radiator- Top of the line transmission cooler - Updated all lines to 3/8ths- 6 pin bilet steel planetary gears- Diesel F350 leaf springs- Additional gauge cluster (see pics) Mechanically the truck is, as you'd imagine, perfect. No issues. Starts right up every time, no smoke. Engine sounds great and is incredibly clean. Due to the side pipe, has an exhaust sound that's as bad ass as they come. Shifts beautifully, goes into 4x4 and 4x4 low very smooth. AC blows cold and heat works well. Dual gas tanks work as they should. Tires look great, plenty of tread. Exterior is in amazing condition considering the age of the truck. Beautiful Michelin tires give it an aggressive stance. (pics don't do it justice.) This truck turns heads. It is 20+ years old, and the paint is original, so it has a couple small scratches, rock chips, and dings... But no blemish is big enough to see from more than 10 feet away. It's exactly what you'd expect from an extremely well cared for, garaged and pampered truck of this age. Chrome bumpers are straight and shine like new. Tailgate looks excellent. Interior is in show room condition. It looks like it was barely used. With the exception of a small, 4 inch, re sewn seam on the side of the drivers seat, almost no wear is visible. Carpet is in great shape and headliner looks new. Zero dash cracks, all instruments work perfectly including the original radio, electric windows, cruise control, horn, lights, factory gauges and after market gauges (see pics). Even lumbar works. Zero smells, no pets, no smoke. Bottom line: you're just not going to find a better maintained, more bullet proof, mid 1990's Ford...period. Whether the new owner wants to add this truck to his/her collection of classic trucks or just wants to drive the prettiest truck in town, this rare find will make someone incredibly proud for many years to come.
