1980 Honda CM400T

Up for sale is a very good running low mileage CM400T. I recently picked up this bike along with a few other 400's as a lot. This bike in particular runs exceptionally well. Instead of ripping it apart and parting it out I opted to sell it as a good running bike. Extremely low mileage. These CM's were extensively used by Motorcycle schools back in the day. I learned how to ride on one of these and have always found them to be reliable fun bikes. Perfect bike to learn on or for daily commuting. Very agile for its size. As you can see in the pics its not 100% cosmetically and I do not currently have the plastic sidecovers for it. (sidecovers are available on ebay) The tank is a repaint that was professionally coated inside. Bottom line.......Carburetor has been rebuilt, adjusted, synced. Engine has perfect compression within spec. No worry of rust in the tank. Top to bottom i've gone through the bike and addressed anything that needed it. I slapped some new tires on it, new plugs, oil, etc. Frontend is very tight with good suspension all around. Charging system functions right where it should. Original seat. Matched ignition/ gas cap key. 5000 miles make this Honda a baby. A signed Connecticut state Bill of Sale form from the last registered owner comes with the bike. Connecticut does not issue Titles for any motorcycle over 20 years old. As a result other DMV's around the country will accept the bill of sale. Some may require a VIN verification check. Check with your local DMV if outside of CT. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. I will work with your shipper but arrangements are to be made by the buyer. Local pickup is always cool.
