My father-in-law purchased this car new. When he passed in 2004, his wife did not drive, but she kept the car so that when her daugther's would come visit they would have something to drive around. I was asked to maintain the car in working order. My mother-in-law passed last May and willed me the car as payment for taking care of it for the last 14 years. I don't really need another car so it is now up for sale. Comparing it to a 3 year old car it is in excellent condition. Comparing it to another 18 year old car, it is in amazing condition! Mercury built a quality product! It has never been in an accident and never had any paint work done. There are a few chips in the paint that have been touched up and 1 door ding, Other than that the paint looks like new. The interior is exceptionally clean and the leather is in beautiful shape. The tires are Michelin Defender All Season with 5000 miles on them. I've kept maintenance records on the car dating from 2004 if interested let me know. This car is ready to drive anywhere.
