What else is there to say about this car? If you are looking at this item, it is likely you know about the Maserati 4200 series. The GT4200 is the 6-speed, 3-pedal manual transmission - not the Cambiocorsa. Many people feel the Coupe looks great as it is, but most seem to prefer the GranSport style. The prior owner of this car wanted something different and went to work finding the parts necessary to convert his Coupe to look and feel like a GranSport both inside and out. I bought it to drive, but life changes and it is time to sell. I paid way, way more than the Buy it Now or Reserve prices. My loss will be your gain for sure. This is one GREAT car! The GranSport conversion. With a true manual transmission, it was impossible to change the center console, but the seats, door panels and steering wheel have all been updated, along with added navigation on the interior. The exterior boasts side skirts, grill and rear facia additions that truly make this car standout! It looks good in the pictures, but is truly amazing in person! It also has clear bra on the entire front to protect the paint! The 4200 lineup is the last Maserati to have an engine built by Ferrari. It is very similar to the engine used in the F430, with modifications to make it much more durable, though less powerful than its Ferrari sibling. Mated with a manual transmission is the best way to truly experience this car and allows you to control exactly how you, and your car, react to every driving situation! On top of it all, you do not have to worry about short clutch life or backing up a hill - you control the clutch, not a computer that slips it to maintain low speeds while starting out on a hill or in reverse. Don't get me wrong, the Cambiocorsa is awesome in a lot of ways, but driving a manual with a clutch that you control brings a whole new life to the Maserati driving experience! With less than 12,600 miles on the clock, this car is just broken in. It has been maintained well and used lightly. Everything works as it should and it is an absolute blast to drive - not to mention the "thumbs-ups" you get going down the road and the questions and praise you hear at the gas station! Please realize this is not a high mileage, run of the mill car. It is truly a special experience and one that you will fall in love with. To the best of my knowledge, it is the only Manual 6-speed in existence that looks just like, if not better than a standard GranSport. The car has the front cat delete already done and sounds great. It is not loud, but its growl on start-up and acceleration makes you want to roll down the windows, turn off the radio and just listen to the heavenly sound!
