Vehicle Detail

~~ 1969 'SPORT' BRONCO ~~ - U150 Sport Wagon 4 x 4 - 302 - V8 - 3 Speed Manual Trans - DANA 20 <> 4-High / 4-Low / 2-High Transfer Case - 4.11 Gear Ratio Axles - Front WARN Locking Hubs - Color Code (B) - Royal Maroon - Front Bucket Seats / Parchment Rosette - Rear Bench Seat / Parchment Rosette - Chrome Bumpers w Bumperettes - Sport Mat flooring - Stroppe Roll Bar - Cooper Discover Mud & Snow Tires- Factory Farm Latch side style Tire Carrier- Stroppe period style Steel Wheels- Factory Rocker Panel Moldings - Stroppe period style rear Fiberglass Flares - Dual Tanks (only rear main tank is operable) - Brand new dual exhaust The Bronco is in good condition, doesn't really need much to be a nice driving bronco. Brake attention and maybe a little TLC in all the running gear and mechanicals to make it a safe and roadworthy Bronco. Motor runs good and strong but could use a tune up from sitting. I believe this year engine has 9:1 compression which explains the pull and power. Suspension is older possibly original and could use new shocks. Bumpers have some dings in them. Body is straight with a few areas that got water trapped behind dealer undercoat and created a rust spot (see pics). The dealer did a great job at lining the underside of Bronco with undercoat but over the years sediment got trapped behind a few areas.Paint is faded but still has a cool patina to it.Drivers side exhaust manifold has a small crack in it, you can hear the exhaust leak. Heater, Lights and all controls work on dash but gas gauge is intermittent. One wheel cylinder is bad and it pulls to the right when braking.Dash pad has a cover on it.Auxiliary gas tank filler hose needs replacing. E-Brake release handle spring is bad.Left turn signal doesn't work, most likely the bulb / Right signal works fine along with Hazards. Hard top is in great shape with Sport rack above. Body of Bronco is straight and very presentable.Undercoat in areas is peeling off and you can see the clean factory metal and factory paint color on underside (see pics that I have posted of front/rear wheel wells, under body, door pillars and rocker panel) 3 speed on Tree shifts great.4 Wheel Drive works great. No major oil leaks to noteHardtop in great condition - no rust, nice glass, nice headliner and nice chrome rack. In the common areas where these Broncos normally get rust this one looks good; Door pillars, rocker panels, inner fenders, emblems, body seam areas etc. all look good, just those few areas mentioned where the sediment got trapped behind those spots of undercoat which created the rust spot to pop up (see pics; spot on top wheel well drivers side n tiny-tiny spot on passenger side and the door striker post/outer edge on passenger side) A great Bronco to have, fix up and make yours. We have decided to sell the Bronco and put the monies towards a new pool for nino if you would like to donate any extra : ) Please ask any questions or request any photos and we'll do our best to accommodate.
