We hate to see it go, but it's time to buy a 16' trailer for our truck. No games here, what you see is what you get. No mods to the Mustang. A significant amount of reconditioning is required (unless you want to significantly shorten the life of this vehicle). So, here is what you need to know: The rotors and brake pads should be replaced within ~ 10K miles (you might have wiggle room here, but it all depends on how you drive), the tires should be replaced within ~ 10K miles,the battery should be replaced, &the passenger-side headlight should be replaced (to improve nighttime driving). Note: The vehicle runs, but its 100K mile tune-up is required. Note: There is a leak that occasionally accumulates a pool of water on the passenger side floor after a heavy storm. We understand that we could have the work done by our mechanic and then sell the Mustang, but we know we'd prefer a good deal on the vehicle "as is" and then be able to work with our own mechanic to perform the recommended and required improvements\upgrades. For example, if we were going to keep the Mustang then we were going to upgrade to larger original wheels and performance tires (the staggered fitment 18" Bullitt wheels are a solid upgrade, and for not a whole lot of cash as a package when compared to just putting on new tires). The final thing to note is that I will personally ship & deliver the vehicle to you (based on the cost from our home base in Massachusetts). This is a big deal for some who would otherwise have the vehicle shipped to them by a carrier. This is an expensive endeavor no matter how you cut it up. I would be willing load the Mustang onto a vehicle trailer, and I would start my road trip from MA with the only costs being fuel and simple overhead on my truck (12.5 MPG; '93 octane fuel; $0.10/mile overhead). I will not charge for my time (unless you live more than 1,000 miles away). I travel with my dog so she and I would make a road trip of it.
