Lovingly cared for 2003 525i BMW. 2rd owner with fewer than 114,000 miles. This was sold as an off-lease car with one previous owner, the lessee, and myself (the first owner being BMW). Mostly garage-kept. It has had all regular service using factory parts (with few exceptions). Vehicle is in excellent driving condition and has no major mechanical/cosmetic issues. The paint has a high-gloss finish except roof which has visibly dulled (I have been told it is restorable). A few dents, dings and scratches (all shown). The largest of the dents can be easily removed without requiring any major body work (it is shallow and paint undamaged). There is a small tear in the rear passenger door upholstery (see photo), otherwise upholstery is super clean. Summary of VehicleThe front windshield was recently replaced. Recent battery replacement.Motor mounts recently replaced along with major suspension components, drive belts, and PCV valve.The anti-lock brake unit was recently replaced, and the cooling system overhauled.The alternator was replaced a few years back (with non-factory part).Vehicle has had all regularly scheduled oil changes using BMW recommended synthetic oil.Hydraulic trunk stays recently replaced Tires have decent tread-life remaining though the front has some uneven wear (from a previous alignment issue). Braking is a little noisy due to the use of non-factory pads. The car BURNS NO OIL and the transmission is tight. Unless otherwise stated, all replacement parts are factory. This is a life-long California car and therefore has no rust. Vehicle comes with two sets of keys, original owner's manual/wallet and service records. Functional known issues:The radio display has burned out LEDs and can only be fixed by replacing the unit.The oil pan has a very small, slow leak and will eventually require a new gasketThe beverage holder is broken and needs to be replacedThe sun roof needs servicing. The vehicle has very few mechanical cosmetic defects for a car of its age, and you won't easily find a better 525i on the road in this condition, with such low mileage, at this low price.
