For Sale: 2004 BMW R1150R Rockster. XLNT condition, just over 13k miles. Runs perfectly.Heated grips, ABS. Many improvements over stock. Sargent seat, lower fork LED road lights, carbon fiber front fender, metal quick connects on fuel tank lines, Garmin GPS, engine guards, rear brake light flash module, brand new Interstate battery installed this month. Metzler tires are excellent, overall a stunning bike, not perfect, has minor scratches from use, but for a 15-year-old bike this one is very, VERY nice. When I bought it in December of 2012, with 10,710 original miles on it, I had it serviced at a reputable BMW motorcycle service shop in Santa Fe, NM where they performed the following work: 12,000 mile annual service including:* Replace air filter* Flush/bleed brake fluid* Check and adjust valves as needed* Change engine oil & Filter 20/50 Amzoil* Change gear lube in transmission and rear differential 75w/90 & 75w/110 AmzoilAlso:* Upgrade timing chain tensioner to R12X style* Install new front & rear Metzler Z8 tires and balance. I just installed new NGK platinum plugs and performed an engine oil / filter change on it 27 July. Always adult-owned and garage-stored, this is a very cool bike and you don't see them often. I have the original BMW hard saddle bags. The Sargent seat has a removable passenger backrest plus I have the original seat and another for a total of three seats for the bike.
