Selling my 1999 MB CLK 320 convertible. I bought the car in 2002 off a lease when we moved to Southern California. This is a low mileage 2 owner car that has been in the dry climate of Southern California for most of its life. Brought to Oregon 6 moths ago when we moved. Actual mileage is 79,000, is accident free and has no drivetrain issues. In addition to standard equipment it has heated seats; satellite radio set up; removable windscreen and 4 brand new Michelin tires. The major issue is that the hydraulic top mechanism has been disabled. The top started malfunctioning about 6 months ago and I had it looked at by several "experts". Was told to replace control module, which I then replaced but it did not fix the problem. I have been given a number of possible solutions but I do not have confidence in the repair shops locally. I do have the special tool and can open and close top manually. There is also a quarter sized area of wear on the top as pictured, but the top is absolutely dry and the headliner near perfect. I have the books and the tool kit, the spare has never been on.Reason for selling is 6 cars for 2 drivers - somethings gotta go. This is a no reserve auction with a low starting bid, I am not a dealer or broker, just trying to simplify my life. The car drives and handles great, would not hesitate to drive across the country. The car is currently in Southern Oregon 15 minutes from the Medford Airport. Fly in and drive her home. Can assist with shipping as needed.
