This is an AL Baker conversion 427 / 400 custom suspension in the front and in the rear, with longer travel. 5 gal gas tank. 427 big bore and stroke. This bike was built for a prominent Baja a racer. But was in an accident on a different motorcycle rendering him unable to race again. The bike was sold to me in brand new condition after the conversion was done in 1999. I ride it no more than a couple hours every year. This bike is strong and fast it will run over 90 miles an hour in its current gearing. It is built to go over 120 miles an hour with taller gears. The front end comes up very easily with a role on the throttle in first second and third gear! Fan the clutch front end will come all The way up in fourth gear! This motorcycle is not for the faint of heart, However it is very easy to ride. Docile with a wide power band. You can slide the rear tire around in turns, lug the engine with very low rpm’s and the motorcycle will not die. It will just pull away from almost a dead stop. It makes a perfect enduro bike.
