For your consideration is an original, unmodified, very low mileage, rare color combination, 2009 Shelby GT500 for sale by its original owner. The Shelby was purchased new by my wife and I, and since new, we put a total of about 1,250 miles on it. Each year we changed the oil at a local Ford Garage, had the coolant flush and filled last year, including the intercooler, and have all of the documentation of all of the work that has ever been done to the car, which was mainly oil changes each year. We have the original window sticker, a Carroll Shelby signed dash plaque, SVT certificate, and documentation to show that this is one of 8 2009 Shelby Coupes built in 2009 with a Black / Red interior. While the later model years are more powerful and faster (this has a limiter set to about 150MPH from what I understand) the 2009 model year is the year in which the least were produced of the newer GT500's, for a total of 3559 coupes and convertibles were built that year, and another 712 KR's if I remember correctly. The options on this Shelby include the Shaker 1000, and also comes with a Shelby car cover, and anti theft lug nuts. The front license plate bracket is an after market model that did not require drilling. This car was always garage kept, never driven in snow, always properly maintained, never "driven hard and put away wet", and when you look at the price of a new Mustang GT 5.0, this is a bargain and if properly cared for, much more likely to retain value over time than the new Mustang would.
