Vehicle Detail
1976 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce 2000 Iniezione Touring Package Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce is a car that has a 2 door convertible/cabriolet body style styled by Pininfarina with a front mounted engine powering the rear wheels. Power is supplied by a double overhead camshaft, 2 litre naturally aspirated 4 cylinder powerplant, with 2 valves per cylinder that provides power and torque figures of 126 bhp (128 PS/94 kW) at 5400 rpm and 178 N·m (131 lb·ft/18.2 kgm) at 4000 rpm respectively. This power is delivered to the wheels through a 5 speed manual gearbox. Top quoted speed is 197 km/h, or 122 mph. It is original Spica and starts and runs great THE GOOD:1. Starts every time, runs and handles well2. Overall condition in my opinion is pretty surprisingly good and appears original to the best of my knowledge3. New battery cranks even after sitting for days4. Seems to be all original may have been painted I do not know5. Clutch is good6. Unique color AR219 English Racing Green7. Does not appear to have been wrecked though I have not done a Carfax8. I'm gonna install a original Robbins replacement top this weekend9. I drove it for about two hours on Sunday-real blast10. New battery11. New lights all around12. Glass is in good shape 13. Interior is pretty sweet in my book no major tears 14. Luggage rack? I guess that is good bit corroded so you know15. Brakes rebuilt16. Does not smoke at all-no real maintenance history came with this but another thumbs up in my book17. Engine cools properly however as mentioned the heater ore has be bypassed by PO18. Nose is not nor does it appear to ever have been crushed There are several things that are not working properly for one reason or another I know the grounds on some of this may be the issue however, I'll try and compile a list for purpose of full disclosure:THE BAD:1. The temperature gauge is not reading-pinned at 0 runs at normal operating temperature has not overheated since I've had it2. The heater core has been bypassed-not sure why and the blower is not operating3. There are a couple of small tears on the seats 4. The speedo and the tachometer are weird5. The tires are old Pirelli P6 hold air for long periods time right now but I personally am particular about this6. There are some rust spots on the body in the normal spots (undercarriage, rockers, and there are a couple spots here in there on the shell)7. The top has a hole in the rear window8. The windshield wipers do not work9. The gearbox has a hint of a touchy 2nd gear just have to hold it at the gate for a split sec on speedy take offs10. The hazard switch does not want to stay off11. Drivers door lock appears to have lost the cir clip on the inside12. There is some spotty rust but this car is solid and straight to my inspectionOn Jul-09-18 at 17:57:27 PDT, seller added the following information: Test Drive video here:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_bvf6j_acKM&t=162s
