Vehicle Detail

1966 JAGUAR Series I E-Type Roadster VIN: 1E12381 THERE ARE OVER 70 HUGE IMAGES OF THIS ROADSTER SHOWN BELOW! DESCRIPTION: Representing a spectacular NO RESERVE auction listing for a 1966 Jaguar Series I (XKE) E-Type roadster. Stored in a dry barn for over 30 years, this recently discovered treasure is ready for the skills of a professional restorer or collector. Intact, unmolested and all of the numbers matching, it is the perfect candidate for a fresh new life. Just when you were beginning to think that there couldn't possibly be another nice one left for you! Only 48953 original miles are showing on the odometer. Yes, we know the headlights should be covered and really don't know the answer! We didn't want to bog our bidders down with pages of Jaguar E-Type trivia and miles of redundant historical information. We know that most of the interested eBay automotive enthusiasts, who will be looking at this listing, will know much more about these particular cars than we do. If you do need additional generic information, it is abundant through the use of some simple internet searches. We hope that our pictures speak for themselves, regarding the overall condition. The surface rust showing looks much worse than it is. Look at the driver's side floor and the spare tire well! We took care to try and expose as much detail as humanly possible. We have a clean transferable title in hand. The car rolls for easy loading and the engine turns over freely. The original folding top tonneau cover and high quality full cockpit cover somehow stayed perfectly fresh and new. Our showcased car is over 50 years old, so please forgive us if we've overlooked something minor in our listing. As with all of our eBay Motors listings we try to let our high resolution photographs tell the story about the vehicles that we are selling. All of the pictures you see were just taken and include shots from many angles including the total exterior, complete engine bay, full interior, trunk and the undercarriage. Multiple close ups will attempt to help you with any questions you may have about condition issues. If you study these photos very carefully, you will see exactly what this sought after Jaguar convertible is all about. The images of this car, shown below, will do a much better job of describing the look, style, condition and market value better than our words ever could. Jaguar Series I vehicles, especially the roadsters, are consistently one of the most sought after pieces in the collectible car arena. This one would be a terrific new addition for the discerning restorer or car collector! We invite ANY questions and comments that you have and there is absolutely NO RESERVE on this auction.
