Vehicle Detail
I am looking to sell my Toyota 4-runner. I'm going to be straightforward so there is no surprises if you decide to purchase the vehicle. (will try to include pictures of everything).I do have a lien on the vehicle, the main complication with this is that you would have to meet me where I live or near it. You can check the vehicle out test drive it, and if you decide you want to commit and buy it we just have to make a detour to Illinois title loan. You would have to pay the title off which is 2536 dollars and some change. After the title is paid off they will return the title, which is a clean title, and I will be able to sign it over too you on the spot followed by rest of payment. Too start off this vehicle has a lot of little cosmetic defects. A lot of them are able to be fixed and a few are not. The front windshield is cracked. The carpet has quite a few stains in the back, the front isn't so bad but there are a few, nothing that majorly sticks out just discoloring (darker in spots). The leather is a little bit faded and beaten but is able to be restored. There are light scratches on the driver side door (specifically under the door knob where dog would run up and greet me when coming back home. There's a smear on passenger side door about 6 inches and another one on passenger rear door about 10 inches, its basically like a smear where it was rubbed against. I do believe a lot of the mentioned problems soo far are fixable(I just haven't had the money too get into it). The previous owner had hit a deer and the front bumper has been replaced by him before I got the vehicle. the hood is a little offset from the work but hardly noticeable without knowing what to look for. My dog was in the car right after I took the seat covers off and it was hot, he was excited and jumping around and he put a tear in the leather in the backseat behind the driver seat. it is a fair size tear, I did try to give it a rough patch (for sure able to be fixed better then what I did, just a quick somewhat fix, will include pictures. The maintence light is on but it is separate from the check engine light ( I had the vehicle scanned at AutoZone today and there were no codes that popped up). Ever since I last changed the oil in the vehicle the maintence light never went off, I do believe it is because this time I opted out on changing the oil filter. The spare tire I had to break off when I had a flat one day (it had rusted in place). I have not tried to put the tire under since then, I've just been storing it in the very back but I believe with the right simple modification that it would be able to be stored under vehicle again. Since the car does not read a spare tire under the car, the tire light is on also. I messed up when I was giving it a good final cleaning yesterday, there is an air bag connection under the driver seat. The previous owner had wired in a phone charger with that wire. I had not noticed and the phone charger was stuck under the seat. When I tried pulling it free it pulled out the air bag connection wire as well. I looked into it and you can buy a replacement one which appears to be fairly simple to install for 39.99 online. The last problem that I can think of at the moment (will update if I remember I forgot something) The ac does not work. I tried to refill it with ac refrigerant and I had the ac working for about 3 days. The glove box has small scuffs on it. After 3 days it was nothing but hot air, I did not try to charge it again after that. My goal is to be straight up as I can so I'm not wasting your or my own time, I don't want you too have to deal with any surprises when you come to get the vehicle, please be sincere with your inquires. little thing I forgot there is a knob missing on the volume button, I believe one could be found at a bigger car junk site where you can just rummage through old cars and find things you'd like to purchase, there are just not any near me. The vehicle is 4 wheel drive all of the time. The MPG is approximately between 16-20(potentially even higher or lower) it just depends on how you drive it. If your heavy on the petal it eats the gas up more. It does have some power too it, it can pull up to 7000 pounds. There is a ladder rack with it. There is a moonroof(or sunroof not sure difference) that tilts up just for a small breeze, or can slide open all the way. Hitch is included. The rear window has a feature too where it can go up and down as well. This reminds me that there is a key that you can get that controls that window that is on your key, but the original key fell out of my pocket and got shipped out of state to California with the job I was working on. It takes regular gasoline. The seats are all leather. There is a seat warmer for the driver side and the passenger side. both with electrical adjustments. All the windows are power. There is a wall plug-in in the console between front seats(always found that super useful) the 12volt cigarette charger does work as well. All the power windows work. There is one new tire on the rear right side, and I haven't put on the second new tire because I haven't needed to, but it comes with one that is ready to be put on whenever one chooses. The 2 other ones will need to be replaced within a few thousand miles. I have recently changed the rear brake pads in it. I have a rotor too that will come with it. I replaced the battery about one month ago. I was having problems with vehicle overheating about a month ago. It ended up being a simple solution of just the thermostat being stuck closed, I replaced that. It has a JBLsound system in it too(one of my favorite parts about the car)which includes an amp that came stock under the passenger seat. also came stock with a 5 cd disc changer which always came in handy. Does have cruise control. There was recently a recall on the vehicle too. I am able too or whoever purchase the vehicle too take it up to a Toyota dealership and have a smart brake system installed free of charge (not really sure what that means but I do have a copy of the letter that they sent too me that ill be able to give too you)This has been a very reliable vehicle, not once leaving me stranded in the last 2 years that I have owned it. The biggest problems I've had are the brake pads and thermostat. If you can get past a few cosmetic details then I believe you would really enjoy this vehicle, "a bit of $would dwindle them down drastically) my parents recently had too relocate due to there job, the only way I could get on my feet too stay around mount Vernon, where I work, was taking a title loan no the vehicle. I do believe this was a big mistake and really nothing but further increased my problems. I'm stuck paying 250 dollars every 2 weeks on it, its just too much for me on top of rent and all my other bills. I'm single with no kids and relatively young so I do not need this much of a vehicle, this is more of a family vehicle. Sorry if I repeated details, goal was to be as thorough as possible to avoid later misunderstandings. If you have a question feel free to message me or call (pref if you message first) I promise I will answer you to the best of my knowledge. I do have more pictures if you would like to see more also. need sold asap
