this auction is for a 1951 Ford two door custom. v8 flathead engine with a 3-speed trans., with overdrive. car was restored back in the early 80's and has sat for some time. I see no replaced panels, patches. or other repairs. there appeare to be a very small amount of filler on the corners of the doors and bottoms of the front fenders. maybe a couple of table spoons full. floors, frame, and body mountes look great. it appears to have had only one repaint in the original light green color. the paint is dull and may buff out?? car was converted to 12 volt system. it has two speed electric wipers, electric fuel pump, and a new battery. all lights, in and out, work. the radio hums. clutch and brakes work well. engine starts and runs, BUT, runs rough due to a broken valve the took out the top of a piston. engine will yard drive but needs rebuilding. it is all complete and correct. all glass is good except a small crack in the pass side door glass. windows wind up and down as they should. car would be an easy restoration or upgrade. call with questions. this is a no reserve auction.
