Offered for sale at no reserve is a well cared for 1983 RX7 GS 5spd. 157k miles. All original California car since new. Body is very straight, panels are aligned and silver paint is all original. No rust, crash damage, or repair to this 1st generation survivor. The car had a rear wing installed and then removed so there are 4 small holes that were filled and painted on the rear hatch. Black velvet interior is in very good shape for it's age. General wear is evident and a few splits to the fabric on the back seat cushions. Dashboard has some significant cracks. Instruments are all working. The seals on door windows, and rear hatch should be replaced. The original spare tire and jack are in place. All locks and ignition are original, 1 original key is included.The car has an unmodified engine and runs good but could use a tune up and perhaps a carb rebuild. It starts up fine, idles smooth, shifts smooth with a good clutch, but has some hesitation close to the redline. Prior owner installed a higher capacity aluminum radiator and it runs cool. The cats were gutted out and if this car is purchased within California, be aware that you will have to be creative with smogging it. It has clear title and currently registered until July 2018.
