Vehicle Detail

1968 Ford F100 Long bed 1/2 ton Custom Cab 2wd Daily Driver These long bed survivor trucks are the next big thing, as is survivors or resto-modded ! Builders or should I say survivors like this are getting harder to find, esp this rare factory blue. LOW fair reserve !! We want to sell vehicles, not sit on them FOR 3 MONTHS. ..................................................... CLEAN TITLE IN HAND We suggest viewing our auction on normal large monitors and or tablet to get the most out of our large easy to view pics. Desert Survivor being sold by a very legit Ebay seller If you have any concerns about our vehicle, please ask or dont bid on it. Dont wait till after you win and then make up stuff on wondering if we are real or not. FEEDBACK !!! if you cant take 10 min to read thru our feedback on the cars we have sold here over the last 10 yrs, then you also shouldnt be bidding on our auctions. Ebay offers our Feedback rating for a reason,... try trusting it. BRIEF DESCRIPTION: I call it a survivor because its not been heavily modded Has had at least 1 repaint, close to factory color and in fair shape. Interior is pretty OE too. Basic F100 thats stood the test of time. 45+ yrs later....very solid, min rot or rust. I could find no rot on the either side of the body and the lower parts of the body are in really nice shape. SEE PICS BELOW. Cool options like: dual tanks / PS PB and factory underdash AC which blows cool, just not cold. (and its 103 out here..) Ive been all under and over this truck and its about 95% rot free. When viewing it from underneath the truck is in amazing shape. I couldnt find any rot on the floors or cab corners etc. Even under the rubber mats its in really nice shape. Its been garaged alot too and was never used as a work truck, but as a nice daily driver. Mileage on the odometer shows about 95k, and knowing its history, it could be original. If you look Under the truck and you will see in the pics below, areas where some of the original basic Ford undercoating has dried up and fallen off revealing bare metal in a few areas. Not surprising, because its been in AZ its whole life and the rockers, cab corners and rest of the truck is in very solid shape. (SEE PICS BELOW) WHY buy an eastcoast rust bucket IF YOU DONT HAVE TO ~!? Its been in an original Az vehicle its whole lifeDONT BID UNLESS YOU HAVE THE FUNDS IN HAND apparently some people who use ebay arent smart enough to understand the rules. So if you have under 10 feedbacks, Ill be emailing you if you bid to make sure you are legit, if we do please reply or we will cancel your bid. Up for Auction: LOW FAIR RESERVE !!! DRIVETRAIN: factory V8, 390 2v matted to a C6 auto trans. All is in great working order too. Starts well, and runs and drives great. NEW in the last 3k miles: fuel filter / plugs, cap & rotor / a few belts and tires ! Engine sounds good and runs well, has minor oil leaks like most older motors. Its fun to drive around but has a few issues that should prob be sorted right away. First is: when you hit the brakes a little hard, it pulls hard to the right. AND under hard throttle it flutters and sputters a bit. If you ease into the gas, its feels about normal. My guess is the carb prob could use a rebuild. The truck sat for about 4 months this yr. INTERIOR: take a look at the pics, overall its not in all bad shape at all. Id say its better then normal wear and tear. Could use a new dash pad. Windows all work. Glass all is in great shape. See below. Current radio or speakers not working. The gauge LENSes could use a good cleaning or just replaced. Not sure if all the gauges are working, kinda hard to see, but fuel gauge registers on both tanks. Glass all is good w/ old tint. Bench seat could use some cleaning & factory padded dash is dry and old. Very presentable for a daily driver or weekend cruiser... and its not a bad work truck or weekend cruiser. EXTERIOR: the body pretty straight for its age. Has had a least one repaint many yrs ago like the factory Blue. Overall, the Body is in great shape for being almost 50 yrs old. Just has a few minor dents here n there. SEE PICS. Rust or rot I should say is non existent on the body. Much nicer by comparison to a truck this old from the eastcoast. the paint easily acceptable for a daily driver. You may be able to buff out the old enamel paint. Patina trucks at all the cruise nites are becoming the next Grill has a dent in it. big thing. With stock drivetrains or resto-modded.SUSPENSION: the suspension looks normal from what I can see We didnt hear any weird noises or clunks while driving it around. It Im sure will need some work soon like bushings etc, but as is its driving around ok. Its 40+ yrs old, but was taken care of and not off roaded or trashed. I even drove it over a few curbs in the neighborhood to see if it made any horrid noises. Heard nothing abnormal. This truck is built Ford Tough :) NO SPARE WHEEL. Mostly just surface rust under the car making taking this car apart, almost a breeze !!Check out ALL the pics below ----->it may take a full minute for them all to load if you have a slow connection, so be patient AND looks for the extra scroll bar on the right side. Az gets maybe 12" a yr of rain and Az very dry climate. more info AFTER the pics etc. There are 100 large pics. | | There you go, probably The BEST represented early FORD F100s on Ebay. Follow us !! Shows you all the good as well as any bad. We put a lot of time and effort in marketing our cars. People wait months for a car this solid to come up for sale and even if you have to pay shipping to your area, it still beats paying a body shop to hopefully fix a rusty car for weeks on end. Having as much as the original steel on a non restored car these speaks volumes. Survivors are getting harder to find ! Also, if you buy a car thats been "restored", who knows what surprises are hidden under new paint or thick undercoating. People are flipping cars all the time when most of the jobs are fast, for a quick buck and quality suffers. Email us with ANY questions before you bid please Our Impeccable FEEDBACK speaks for itself. We show you as much feasibly possible via pics. Dont let auctions with little to no pics try to fool you. If they cant take the time to take pics of important areas, such as UNDER the vehicle they are selling, like we do and many more... maybe its not the best car to buy long distance. With other auctions, you really dont know what to expect until you take possession. Meanwhile, we go all over and under our vehicles offering great pics of even the hard to see areas to help making your decision easier. Along with ANY other questions you may have. Email me for a quote for shipping. ARIZONA TITLE IN HAND Keep in mind, this is not a restored car !! CAR MUST BE PICKED UP WITHIN 10 days of auctions END ! we can no longer store cars for anyone !! Unless other arrangements have been made before auction ends. Can help with shipping outside the USA too if you need help. But keep in mind, the car cant ship until you get your title from us in hand. This car, you can see clearly what to expect with no surprises and our Feedback speaks for itself ! EMAIL US WITH ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE !! Vehicle will obviously ship easily as operational !! IF you need a shipping quote, just email us with your city/state and Ill find out our best quote for you !! No problem helping it to the docks if you are shipping overseas . If you have to wait for the title to ship your car, it still needs to be paid for and shipped from our holding lot as mentioned in the ad. When we get the title for it, we will fedex it to you. If there is a winner, please CONTACT me when the auction ends and say Hi and we can take it from there. Our direct email is (motorsport_svx@yahoo.com) no excuses !!! Bank Wires need to be prompt if you are out of the country because they always seem to take longer then expected.
