Up for sale is truly "grandpa's car" !!! LOW MILES! Only 56,716 MILES. This is a NON MOLESTED, True surviving, Original as you'll find 1970 Ford Mustang Coupe! They are only this original once! This car was my grandpa's since the 70s! He purchased it from his neighbor who purchased it new. I have had the car for nearly ten years and would like to see someone get it that will enjoy it to it's fullest. Always garage kept and stored winters since it's been in the family. This car starts, runs, and drives as close to new as you will find for an unrestored car. I wouldn't be afraid to drive this car home! It fires right up and drives down the road straight. No noises whatsoever. It shifts through the gears great! The original Philco AM Radio works sometimes and sometimes it doesn't. It does have an aftermarket Under Dash Very Hard to Find Air Conditioner that is functional if charged. This car still has the factory four wheel manual drum brakes. The body has dents and dings and some very minor rust beginning. It is occurring around rear tail lights, drivers side front fender in front of wheel, and passenger rear quarter panel. It is very minor stuff. All the glass appears to be factory. The chrome has some dents and is not perfect but cleans up well. The paint is showing it's age finally. It could be buffed up to shine a little better on the top and hatch. The paint is cracking a little bit around the gas cap. It does have a small dent by the antenna and point of hood. The car does have some door dings as is expected for a non restored car. The interior is very very nice. It has one tear in drivers seat. ( I removed tape so you could see it). It has two small cracks in dash by the speaker. They aren't even all the way across. The headliner is perfect. It really is in great shape! Under the car it is solid. The trunk pans are solid. The floorboards are good with only surface rust beginning. I didn't want to paint on it either so you could see it's original condition. This car is all there and never been messed with! The radiator, coolant recovery tank, and battery hold down hardware have been updated I BELIEVE. They are not original. The shocks have been replaced as well as general wear items: brakes, battery, exhaust, etc. I have a Clear Indiana Title in my name. The miles is actual at 56,716. I would love for someone to enjoy the car as much as I used to but unfortunately I don't have the time anymore to dedicate to it.
