Here is a nice 2000 Jeep Cherokee SE 4WD with 50200 actual miles. It is an automatic with air, cruise, power windows, power door locks, power mirrors, and tilt steering wheel. This Jeep checks out on car fax. No accidents. The Jeep runs really well. The 4.0 is strong and smooth. the 4wd appears to work. What I have discovered is that it doesn't always want to go into overdrive. It will go in most of the time but comes out sometimes. The transmission shifts OK, but it runs 2800 RPM at 65MPH when not in OD, and 2200 RPM when it is overdrive. Someone told me that it was probably the NSS neutral safety switch needs taken off and cleaned. It can be driven, but when not in OD the gas mileage will suck. The Jeep looks really nice, for its age. The wheels are ugly. I was going to put a new set on it, but I figured I'd keep the price down and let you decide what wheels to buy. The engine is extremely clean. No leaks or smoking. It has a new starter. This will make someone a nice Jeep. If you like to wrench, fix this jewel up and it will serve you for many years. This is being sold as is.The interior is clean, and the head liner is good. It has been undercoated. The engine bay is very clean. All windows work. radio works as do the front and rear wipers. All lights work. the electric door lock will unlock but won't lock. Good radio and the air is very cold. This Jeep is being sold AS IS. It has a couple of issues, but over all it is an 8 out of 10. new wheels would do wonders for it. Check engine light it on. Code P0705 transmission range sensor.
