Vehicle Detail

1969 FORD BRONCO 1/2 Cab Original California Bronco purchased out of San Andreas, California from a local Ford / Mercury Dealership. 3rd owner - I've owned for less than 2 years. 2nd owner - owned for approximately 5 years 1st owner - owned it for 42 years. From what the past owner told us, this 1/2 cab was used as a deer hunting vehicle in the local surrounding areas of San Andreas, California. The Bronco was originally Color Code U - 'Lunar Green' but was too bright in the wooded areas so the original owner had it painted Color Code B - 'Royal Maroon' to calm the appearance to Bambi's eye. The Bronco was driven and hunted with the first 20+ years of its life but then sat in a garage for almost 20 years from what we've been told. I believe the mileage could be the original miles due to the good condition of the Bronco and the history we've been told? - The passengers side exhaust manifold has a slight crack in it which allows an exhaust leak. - The Brakes are decent but could use some attention all the way around just to be safe. - Some dents in the rear bed area from hauling cargo/deer etc (see pics) - Floors have the typical surface rust and a little on the floor seam line where toes go. - 302 engine runs good, we've never rebuilt the carbs or cleaned the tanks but could use that. - Some areas of the paint have a scratch or chip but overall looks pretty nice. - Bronco drives straight down the road and is pretty easy to drive - 3 speed shifter on column works great through all 3 forward gears and Reverse. - Tires are standard radial street tires - Heater / Blower / Defrost all work - The original single exhaust was on there but old so we just replace the muffler back. This is a pretty clean Bronco, all the body seams, underside, wheel wells, door posts, rocker panels, striker post and even up inside all four upper fenders are very clean and for the most part free of rust. The original factory primer still shows on the underside along with factory pen markings on the frame and some of the body parts. My plan was to restore it back to original and bring back the Lunar Green paint which I think is one of the better colors. I included a pic of what this one could or should look like one day if restored back to original. I'm selling some toys to hopefully build a new garage so the 1/2 Cab is looking for a good home and hopefully bring it back to original one day : ) please ask any questions and or request any photos and I will do my best to answer you. On May-11-18 at 08:18:47 PDT, seller added the following information: to answer a few questions from the people who emailed and a few things I forgot to write: - yes, this model Bronco came factory with the bench seat (see Marti Report that I included in pics) - the original color code was 'U' - Lunar Green - the original gearing is 4:11 both front and rear from factory - I also noticed that I didn't get a picture of the dash pad in the limited amount of photos allowed, the dash pad has cracks in it from the sun. - The rear bumper is not original to the Bronco. - Drivers door window frame had a slight crack and appears to have a small weld to it from years back. - The shipping option is a little confusing on my ad but whoever wins the Bronco should arrange shipping and I am willing to assist with time and meeting the trucking company etc. - The exhaust system is single exhaust - The valve cover gaskets were replaced and valve cover paint re-done at that time. - Bronco has manual steering - This 302 engine for 1969 had 9.5:1 compression and I believe 210 horsepower, the motor is strong. - one or two of the emblems are missing the mount pegs - all body exterior seams are clean n free of any rust, the Bronco is solid other than the typical surface rust on the floors, even the inner fenders and cowl and door post or very clean with original paint. Once again, please ask any questions if there is any concern on any areas of the Bronco.
