Vehicle Detail
This beautiful 1969 Oldsmobile Cutlass is not a trailer queen, but the condition of this car is near breathtaking. It's almost like going back in time! It is also very mechanically sound and runs & drives as good as it looks. There is no rust on the car anywhere. This car has always been in pretty good condition, but had some pitting starting down in the lower rear quarters, so they were both replaced. The car was then repainted in the original Sable color, and it shines quite nicely. The interior is gold as well as the top, and all is very good condition. There is a slight material defect in the drivers seat down by your left kidney, and the top has a small divot near the left rear elbow (see pics for more detail). Overall the car shows very well though, and gets lots of compliments. The trunk has been carpeted, and someone made a cover for the spare tire. However, all of this could be easily removed if you wanted to go with the "all original look". There is an aftermarket AM/FM radio installed that does work, but the original AM radio is in the trunk if you decide to go back to complete stock. The car has 149206 miles, but most of the drive train has been rebuilt. The engine is the original Oldsmobile 350 with 2Bbl carb, bored .030 over, and otherwise rebuilt to factory specs. The transmission has also been rebuilt and is the turbo 350 / 3 speed auto. I don't know if the rear axle has been rebuilt or replaced, but it does not make any noise when driving and has been serviced recently. It is the Oldsmobile style 10 bolt with open gear. This car has power steering and power brakes. The brakes are drum style front & rear, and has new shoes and wheel cylinders. Also I have been looking for a center console lid door hinge, and can not find one. This will be needed in order for the center console lid to operate as designed. This car has a fresh oil change and grease job and is ready to go for the summer time car show season, and top down cruising! If you have questions let me know. You can text me also if you like. It's easier for me to respond quicker by texting. My cell number is 740-506-0492 and my name is Dave.
