Relisted based on buyer not paying. 1997 Dodge Viper GTS - This was the pinnacle of low production coupes and the story behind the 97 cars are what is so intriguing as a true collector. These cars were built as a direct run off of the 96 GTS that was a very first coupe in viper existence. The 96 cars were so highly desired that they had so many orders for the 96 cars that Dodge built a limited number of coupes for the 96 owners who wanted the cars and were unable to order a 96 because of only building 1,100 cars. The 97 cars only 435 cars were built and this is one of the 435 unmolested for the most part with a few bolt on mods, exhaust, This particular 1997 comes with one original key fob and red viper head key, original Dodge Viper owners manual. Everything on this Viper works as it should. This is a great opportunity to own one awesome Viper GTS at an Amazing price! Drivers door has a paint flaw from being repainted based on repair to door which was an insurance claim and registered as an accident on carfax. Only the door was repainted from this but with the insurance paying for it it registers as an accident. The title is clear, NOT salvaged, NO air bag deployed, it just had a damage to the door requiring insurance repair. The car is a Red no stripe car - I installed the white vinyl stripes and if you prefer to not have the stripes, they can easily be removed. They are vinyl, not painted on. Car has always been stored in a temperature controlled garage in the winter months on a car lift. I have personally taken the car to many local Viper club events. Car has a brand new $150 gel battery installed, it has nearly new tires front and back with less than 4000 miles on them. Drilled rotors and Viper calipers. Comes with Corsa exhaust which gives the car a preferred growl over stock. Original radio, Viper floor mats. Has normal scratches under front bumper and scratches to be expected for a car that is 21 years old. I have personally put on 4000 miles on the car in the last three years and enjoyed every mile. This is the second 97 GTS I have owned - both have been red with white stripes and they are show stoppers. Please have funds in hand prior to bidding.
