Hello All, Sadly, it is time for me to part with my beloved 1989 Honda CBR 600F, which I have owned since it was brand new over 28 years ago. During that time, she has been regularly maintained and stored in my climate controlled garage. My personal responsibilities and obligations have recently changed, and I have not had an opportunity to ride my bike at all in the last year and a half and at this point there isn’t any light at the end of that tunnel. I hate to see it just sitting there under its cover in the garage as I stare longingly at it. It has not seen a lot of action in its life, as evidenced by me only being able to put 25,714 original miles on it. This is a great opportunity for a collector, or someone who just enjoys the original CBR Hurricanes. Here is some information you might find useful. The 1989 model year had the limited edition red, white & blue color scheme to commemorate Honda 25th Anniversary in the U.S. motorcycle market. It really is a conversation piece whenever I take it out! I have kept the motorcycle completely original and stock except for a Second Look seat cover and a Cobra F1S slip-on exhaust pipe. However, I have the original OEM seat cover and exhaust pipe, and these are included in the sale. When I bought the motorcycle new, I had the dealer install a center stand (an option for this model year), which has come in EXTREMELY handy for maintenance jobs on it over the years. I also have a few other parts I bought as spares in case they were ever hard to find. Also included is the Clymer manual for this model year. The vehicle has been regularly maintained, and all the work done is documented. Since the bike has been sitting for over a year, the carbs will need to be cleaned. It’s something I’ve done a few times over the years, and if I had the time in my life I would do it myself (heck - if I had the time I’d just keep the bike).
