This bike was my all-time favorite, right up until some retard decided to cross multiple lanes of traffic without checking their blindspot. It took a side-swipe type hit on the right side and was then dropped on its right side at about 25mph. The right-side handle-bar is slightly bent from the impact, and there is damage to the right-side faring, including the rear-view mirror, and one of the faring mount tabs. In addition to the cosmetic damage there are two additional issues that I have not taken the time to debug or fix: 1) the impact broke the right side rear-view mirror, which houses the front-right blinker. As a result the bike has a dash indicator showing a malfunctioning lamp, even though all lamps appear to be working; 2) the bike has a dash indicator showing a brake malfunction, even though the integrated braking system is working (maybe a little too well based on how little the lever needs to move to engage maximum braking force!). It is beat up, but the power plant and power train of this bike are in excellent condition. The bike has had all maintenance and recall/warranty work done by the dealership. This bike has a clear title and is NOT a salvage bike. However, I think the best (and safest) use of this bike will be for parts. But if you are more mechanically inclined and have the time to run down any issues remaining from the crash, then have at it. As-is; no warranty; no returns.
