Vehicle Detail

Okay, last time up. It now has a buy it now for those of you that asked so here it is. $19500.00 will buy this car. 21 day listing! If you want it for $19000.00 fine but I will put a flat hood on it and keep the SS hood. As I know many of you prefer the a Cowl induction hood that came out on the 1969 Camaro and many retrofitted onto the 67 and 68 models. If it does not sell this go around I will just restore it and drop in a Big Block crate motor and keep it. Last chance to purchase this rare SS 396 car and it is a great investment opportunity. Affordable 1968 Camaro SS 396 big block cars don't come around often for sale. Many ask how can it be a SS 396 car? Simple look at the heater core. It comes out of the center of the heater case. In 1968 all Big Block Camaro's from the factory were built this way and all big block factory cars were a Super Sport. Some got the RS package as well or more commonly called RS SS 396.These big block cars were rare back in 1968 and 50 years since they hit the streets there are not many left. This car restored will be worth quite a lot of money as it is not the more common small block car. The original motor is long gone.A healthy 350 with a brand new Holley 750 coupled to a Muncie M-21 4 speed transmission which has been recently rebuilt along with the Hurst shifter. It shifts smoothly and drives with no noise. The 12 bolt posi-traction rear differential was recently rebuilt with all new internals 3:73 Posi. This car is smooth and hauls you know what! All new front BMR coil 2" drop springs and rear multi-leaf springs, brake lines, hoses, brake booster, proportioning valve, master cylinder, exhaust from collectors all of the way to the rear with a nice rumble not obnoxiously loud. Factory front disc brakes and rear drum. Heavy duty front and rear sway bars and old school traction bars. The interior was just all redone from top to bottom headliner, carpet. dash pad, seat foam, door panels, package tray and roof rail weatherstripping, steering wheel all of it. It is an original Black Deluxe interior car. The car also has the paint code DD which is depicted in the last picture for reference only "Grotto Blue". Has new AM/FM in it. I replaced the front windshield recently. I have new in box which is included a passenger side door mirror and a complete set of wheel lip moldings. This car is dry. No rust/rot around the windows or drip rails. None around the rear trunk lip or trunk pan. Car is solid. Drive as it is or take it to the next level. I would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere. It is a fun car a driver and it draws attention when I stop for gas a crowd always gathers as it has great patina and the day 2 vibe. The car is sold as is where is with no warranty expressed written or implied. All shipping expenses and set up is the buyer’s responsibility. I will deliver to your shipper in the greater Los Angeles area for you overseas buyers. I will store up to two weeks so you can arrange shipping. Car remains with me until payment (Bank Wire Transfer only!) from your financial institution to mine clears my bank. I will over night the paper work to you once funds clear and give you the go ahead to make your shipping arrangements. I am not interested in any trades. Thank you for your interest in the Camaro and have a great day! ***NOTE*** I have a complete RS conversion kit includes grille, bezels, upper and lower RS grille moldings with electric headlight door motors simple plug and play set up, RS fender adapters, along with RS lower valance, RS front park lights, hood release, new tail light bezels and pair of new bumpers which are included in the buy it now price. A $2100.00 value exactly what I paid for all of the parts. All of the stickers (except the oval N.H.R.A.) have been removed from the quarter windows. Also a Quick ratio power steering box in mint condition along with hoses, new power steering pump with pulley and bracket should one desire to add factory power steering which this car did not originally come with is included. An additional $600.00 value is included and you install. All of this in included for $22000.00
