this was my uncles bike, he passed today due to cancer, and my cousin drove it over today. It was on the road every year and garage stored, very low miles, it looks great and runs even better, new battery and front tire last year, the only thing i can think of is he relocated the starter button from the handle to the brake, I think the original button failed and he did his own thing. In any case it runs and drives perfect, and I was pretty impressed by the performance and smooth response. I have a video of it running and can furnish you with it, it is in really remarkable shape and this is not restored this is original untouched. He was an air force mechanic on fighter planes and was a maintenance maniac and would Vaseline the chrome and use stabil when he stored it, and ran sea foam every year, the carbs are clean as day one, looked inside the tank, no rust anywhere, this is a remarkable survivor. I have a hog already or i would ride this machine. In any case it is what it is, and either way hope you get a good bike on ebay, got mine on there, its been great. I just looked this bike up and it is showing substantial money for excellent condition retail, so make an offer and be fair, we have a funeral to pay for, so with that said hopefully you can help my cousins out and get a great bike for a good price.
