1967 SS/RS Camaro Convertible. This is a highly optioned car; power top, power windows, tilt steering, deluxe interior, air conditioning, rally sport, super sport, 12 bolt posi-traction (373) multi-leaf springs. I have owned this car since 1986. In 1989, I spent about 2,000 having a 396 BB (engine is originally from an impala) professionally rebuilt and drove the car for about two years. The engine started to have a slight knock and I turned it off and stored it for the last 30 years. It has the original 2-speed Powerglide transmission. I have always kept it in a garage in Colorado. The floor and trunk pans are in good condition. The quarters have the typical rust and need to be replaced along with the outer wheel well housings. In addition, the panel between the dash and windshield needs to be replaced. Last year I was planning to begin an LS conversion and body restoration. I pulled the engine and I scheduled a sheet metal install at the AMD installation center. The appointment with AMD is on hold because I have decided to sell the car. If I don't have success with this auction, I will be taking the car in for restoration.
