1971 Lincoln Continental Town Car 4 door, solid 360 V8, automatic transmission (seal leak has been repaired), stored for 30 years in dry storage unit, small dent in trunk lid, solid clean trunk with no rust, some quarter panel rust, good clean shiny black leather seats with no holes nor tears, good carpet and floor mats, approx. 120,000 miles, needs new battery and terminals, will start and drive on private road, but would need to be checked over by mechanic before public road driving. From an estate. I am the 2nd owner. Great car for restoration. Interior pictures show the leather looks gray, but that is due to light reflection. All glass is good with no cracks nor chips. Solid car. Clear title. Set of gold Jubilee keys comes with the car. Gold Jubilee Edition emblem on dash. Only 1200 of these cars were made. Very few exist. Rare car! Another bidder asked about approximate shipping cost to coastal California. Range in cost is probably $800.00 to $1200.00 depending on shipping company. New owner would have to arrange and pay for his own transportation. I drove this car over 800 miles in the late 1980's before I put it in enclosed dry storage. Had essentially no trouble with it, but did have to put on a new starter, new gas tank, and new muffler and tail pipe. It ran fine. I fixed a seal leak on the transmission. Has a good set of Michelin radial tires. Anyone that wants to look at the car before the bidding is over is welcome to come and take a look at it. The body is straight, and shows no evidence of even a fender bender. The dent in the trunk lid is not from a car accident, but is from a board that fell on it during storage.The power trunk release works well. The headliner is in good condition. The leather seats, carpet and floor mats are in good condition. Paint is solid overall, except for rusted area around quarter panels and fender skirts.
