Vehicle Detail
To the best of my knowledge this '57 convertible has had three owners. The last had it for 23 years. It started out as a 283 220-hp powerglide car. It is rust free and has red oxide primer on the undercarriage. The paint number is 793 which is onyx black with a 683 red & silver interior. The interior appears to be the factory original. It does need painting and needs a new top. The paint is what I call a 10-footer. A new paint job will depend on the new owner. The car can be left as is for cruising and local shows. The engine, transmission and all wiring and bracketry were taken from a 1992 Corvette. It is a LT1 multi port 300-hp motor. It has the same 1992 Corvette 4-speed automatic transmission. The rear is an Australian 9-bolt 330 posi unit. It has front and rear sway bars, 4-wheel power disc brakes, power steering, Ididit tilt column, steel gas tank with internal electric fuel pump, and Painless under-dash wiring. It has the power top which works perfectly, backup lights, outside mirrors, coil over shocks, Custom Autosound system, and Vintage Air that works perfectly with original '57 controls and air ducts. It also has the under dash electric wiper system. I have all of the paper work and instruction sheets for all of the newly installed units. This convertible runs and drives great. A lot of money was invested in this convertible. It is also for sale locally. Any questions, feel free to contact me.
