I have owned this 1999 S600 for about a year and have put around 2,000 Miles On It. Recently replaced the Radiator and Hoses, Oil Change, Alignment with Tie Rods, and Balance all at Mercedes dealership. I have ben driving this daily for the past 2 months and has never left me stranded- starts right up every time and shifts impeccably. Here is what I know it needs: -Engine and Transmission Mounts-Radio Antennae-Check Engine Light... needs O2 Sensors; suggested to replace Mass Air Flow but could be triggering code due to O2 sensor (stable idle; does not surge)-No heat coming out (Fan Blower Works); needs "Heat Valve Exchange Unit" which is in the engine compartment and easily accessible (coolant lines attached to it... I am told that the magnetic valves go bad internally).-Sunvisor is lose/broken and I just leave it open.-There is a stone chip in the windshield... driver's side top.-When very cold, I occasionally heard creaking/moans from suspension but has since stopped. (Does not drive "floppy" or "sloppy"!) I have both master keys, valet key, and owner's manual. Title is in my name and is clear. Cash on delivery. No warranty expressed or implied.
