The gentleman I bought this car from nicknamed it Smothers in honor of it's previous owner from the hit TV show the Smothers Brothers. Smothers is a very nice, classic W123 Mercedes sedan. I bought this car out of California and shipped it to Tennessee with plans of keeping it. However another vehicle has came my way and plans suddenly change. My loss will definitely be someones gain. The car was owned by Thomas Smothers, passed to his son and sold to a family friend who I bought it from. I have a clear title signed by Thomas Smothers. There is even a moving violation / ticket to go with it. The car is Creme with a palomino interior. It's a gorgeous color combo. This car drives out great. It tracks and accelerates well. You can tell this car has been well cared for throughout it's lifetime. All windows function as they should as does the sunroof. Air blows cold. No rips or tears in the interior. Seats sit well. Nets on seat backs are tight. Original first aid kit is still in place. Original radio works as it should. Car was repainted many years ago in original color. Paint shows well but has imperfections. The only spot of surface rust is shown in a photo. The hood touched the body at some point when closing and wore the paint. Small Issues: Antenna mast is broken. Tach doesn't function but I have the part to fix it, which goes with the car. Key does not lock drivers side door. It needs a small plastic piece replaced inside the door. This is referenced in a note inside the glovebox. Auto climate control doesn't function but I have the part to fix it, which goes with the car. Brakes function but need to be checked. Chrome around the windows needs to be polished. The car needs a good detailing. I have not cleaned the engine as I wanted the buyer to see it as is. Overall this is a great car with a unique history.
