If you have ever owned a Reflex, you know they are great reliable scooters that easily cruise at 65 MPH. However, the pick up isn't much at all, until you reach about 50 mph. After installing a Dr. Pulley Performance Variator Kit, the difference in pick up and throttle response is like night and day but the RPM's are still the same at 65 which is the concern of other kits. The tires, variator kit and install were $500 so in effect, with older tires, it's a $1,200 Reflex which is cheap. The tires were replaced five miles ago and there is a quick release Givi trunk. Not wanting to tow a car, I used this on the back of a motorhome but bought a 400 cc being better suited riding "2 up" at highway speeds, . I hope those looking at it have ridden a Reflex because the difference the Variator makes was the best $350 spent. There are light scratches, typical of a 15 year old scoot but nothing major and has never been laid down. I will help with access for shipping if necessary.
