1966 Mustang Convertible. I purchased this and did a basic DIY restore and have owned this car for about the last 5 years. It was originally an inline 6 car but was converted with V8 and proper V8 suspension components before I purchased it. I have had the car painted, body repaired, professionally rebuilt V8 302 with maybe 10k miles on it, electronic ignition, 17 inch tires, dual master cylinder with drum brakes on all four wheels. Last year I swapped the C4 to an AOD transmission. Along with that, it could use a professional exhaust install. New shorty headers were put on the engine with the AOD swap, so the connection between the headers and the dual mufflers is with flex pipe right now. It works fine, but should be done with custom bent pipe. I was going to send it to an exhaust shop last year, but i didn't get around to it. It probably does need a new 3rd member for the Ford 9 inch as it chatters a bit when turning or when starting from a dead stop. This is a nice driving car that always gets attention. This is NOT a show car. This is NOT a professionally restored car. This IS a car that you can drive and have fun with, also with a little wrench turning you can have a fun car ready for the summer. This is listed at NO RESERVE. I have the transferrable NYS registration in hand and ready to go.
