1981 Corvette. Always garaged and babied. Rebuilt numbers matching motor, automatic transmission. Loaded with every available option in 1981. Tilt/telescoping steering wheel, power windows, power door locks, power steering, power seats and power brakes. Factory A/C car (needs recharged). The cruise control works great. Excellent running and driving car. MOTOR & TRANSMISSION- Low miles on rebuilt original numbers matching 350 motor. New Edelbrock four barrel carburetor, mufflers, belts, cap, rotor, wires, plugs, hoses, starter and clutch fan. Electronic ignition. Very clean and tidy engine bay. The motor runs perfectly. The transmission shifts crisp and precise. The suspension and steering is tight. PAINT & BODY- This car has been garaged most of its life and rarely driven in rain. 100% rust free. This car has had one repaint several years ago. The car was repainted its original color of Charcoal Metallic (84L) verified by the trim tag. To my knowledge this is a pretty rare color. The car was completely disassembled prior to paint. The paint shows very well with only minor imperfections, rock chips, ect. The fiberglass body is excellent with no cracking. The mirrored t-tops and all glass are in very good condition with no chips or cracks. The fold up head lights work properly. INTERIOR- The original black interior overall is in excellent condition as seen in the pictures. The dash is perfect with no cracks or damage. Everything works including the fuel, volt, temp, oil pressure, speedometer, tachometer, ect.). The seats recently had new upholstery installed by Corvette America in the correct factory color. OTHER- The master cylinder and brakes have been replaced recently. Brand new Good Year Eagle ST's (95% tread) mounted on rare racing wheels. Comes with car cover. New Optima red top battery. This is a very nice low mile and very original Corvette. I looked at many Corvettes before I purchased this car. This car has been a sunny day driver that you can drive anywhere, use as a daily driver, or take to car shows. The car has always been meticulously maintained, cared for, and very reliable. I am regretfully selling this car out of my collection to finish the restoration on another car.
