Vehicle Detail
1974 Cadillac Eldorado convertible. 89,000 original miles NO RESERVE. This auction will not pulled for any reason. Highest bidder takes it.Please only bid if you plan to buy. I will revoke bids from zero rating accounts due to scam attemptsThe winning bidder must speak with me over the phone to confirm they are real NOT RUNNING. CARBURETOR IS CURRENTLY REMOVEDWas a Smooth running motor/transmission shifts great. Has not ran in just over a year since I removed the carb500 cu V-8 New tires ( you may notice a different wheel on the passenger, that is temporary. One of the steel wheels had a bad valve stem)Hubcaps includedNew BatteryNo cracks in the dash or door panel. Carpet is almost perfect. Interior was redone about 9 years ago. Everything except the seats.Only rips in the front seatTop has some damage but does work and doesn't leak during rain. I wouldn't recommend going through a car wash. One hood hinge is bad. Easy to lift hood but have be very careful lowering. Convertible top does not leak. Motors workAll power windows work If you are not familiar with the Eldorado's of the 70's, the reason there is a gap between the body and bumpers is because the bumper filler extensions are made of plastic and the heat destroys them over time. You can buy replacement sets for front and rear for about $500. The top will probably cost you between $800-$1200 depending on what shop you use. Very low miles. Very solid restoration project or rat rod. No drivetrain issues at all. The registration recently expired but if you have collectors car insurance this car is exempt from emissions. There may be rust in the from fenders under the chrome trim. This is a common place where water accumulates. I did find very small rust there but have not actually removed the chrome to see what is underneath. Still no salt rust anyway on the car. I also found a small rust spot under the fender skirt area. Another common place where water can accumulate. If anyone is interested in the additional photos please call/text or message me on eBay. Message me through eBay or call/text. I'm happy to answer any questions. Damien 602 710-3419
