I am selling this 1996 Jeep Cherokee XJ 4x4. I bought this vehicle from the 2nd owner who loved it. It sat for awhile and was not running. I got it running by replacing the coil. It starts and sounds good but will not drive. My mechanic says that it needs a transmission. I don't know about the brakes or the rest of the drive-train. The tires will need to be replaced and I don't know if it will pass a California smog test. I have a clean California title in my name and it is registered non-op. There are no back fees due.I was intending to use this in the mountains and desert as a fun vehicle but my circumstances have changed. Please ask questions if you have them before you bid.
