I am the original owner of this 1997 e-250 van , I order it special and waited three months to get it and I put a new motor in it at 50,000 and the transmission got rebuilt in about 2006 with a protorque torque converter and a banks trans commander . If you stay into the gas it will chirp second gear . I did it for towing and I had the stall speed on the convert set low so it is great in the snow and mud and it towed good also. It has been a good truck but it is rusting out and has seen better days. It has remote start and keyless entry . It has a passenger title but I no longer have the rear seat in it. The mounts are in the floor. The truck is more or less fine but needs attention as I no longer drive it regularly. The motor would be good for a project vehicle because it has a throttle cable not drive by wire. 3.73 gears. 5.4 motor wired for trailer. The diver side rear wheel well is mainly fiberglass, the bottom of the rocker panels are rusted through. The exhaust fell off after the rear axle and I have a new piece bent to fix it but I never got around to it. The windshield was replaced about three years ago by Safelite and I believe the radiator was changed about 5 years ago. The speakers are mostly blown out so the speaker box is mainly a seat now. I have two other vans so I'm selling this one.
