Hi Everyone! I'm a long time Ebay member (over 20 years) with perfect 100% feedback as a buyer and seller, until last week. An interested buyer clicked "buy it now" on this 1987 truck listing and evidently changed his mind after committing to buy it. I knew something was up when he wouldn't respond to emails to discuss how to proceed with the sale. He ignored me and didn't pay the deposit. He got angry when I cancelled the sale and left vindictive feedback in Spanish. Translated, his feedback says "it's only worth $3000". I'm not sure how a buyer can leave bad feedback when they haven't bought anything! I'm in process of removing the negative feedback, but I have to wait 10 days (Ebay policy). I want you to be happy with your purchase and ensure there are no misunderstandings. Nobody wants to buy something of value like my truck and be taken advantage of. I value my feedback and want things to go smoothly. There's a good chance anyone buying this truck will want to see it in person and drive it. That's fine! My 4WD 4-speed automatic truck is originally from Bakersfield, California where the average annual temperature is 65F and averages only 7 inches of rain. I purchased it and picked it up from the previous owner in Bakersfield two years ago. The truck is now at my residence in Tucson, AZ where it is equally dry. This truck is in unbelievable condition. You can find many well-kept 30 year old classic cars for sale, but trucks are different. Trucks are true utility vehicles they get used. This truck looks like it was gently used and put in dry storage for a long time. You'd be hard pressed to find an unrestored 80's Toyota 4WD truck in this condition.
