This is a nice example of the much loved Honda Generation 4 VFR 750 RC36 Interceptor sport touring bike. This year has gear drive camshafts, no Vtec complexity and a sound and feel all it's own. These compression brake much like a two cylinder and has the smooth power of the V4 it is. This well maintained bike is clean with some great upgrades.. Recently: New head bearings New front wheel bearings New brake pads all around All fluids, including hydraulics flushed and changed New Thermostat New rectifier/regulator Cooling fluid flushed and changed New plugs new fuel filter All parts are genuine Honda parts with a few key exceptions Upgrade items: The wiring harness system called "VFRness" has been installed for increased charging and available starter current New high mount Delkevic exhaust system with a Delkevic DB reducer (not installed) Conversion of the taillight assembly to LEDs with white/clear lens Digital voltmeter Under seat fused power bar for additional accessory items both switched and fused live as may be required Clear front signal lens A LIN3 pulsating modular brake light is installed. A difficult to find Generation 3, 5.5 width, 8 spoke rear wheel, with new Michelin Pilot 2CT 180 tire (0 miles) . Sebspeed Fabrications clear glass (Lexan) clutch cover conversion (a la Panagali and pure Bling) Corbin Gunfighter saddle with the Corbin removable backrest Corbin solo seat nacelle butt pad Solo seat nacelle painstakingly notched at handles for quick change over to biposto. Complete tool kit and manual, stock seat, and all stock lighting included with sale. This bike is a blast to ride, goes to redline smooth as silk in all gears, cruises the interstates in 4th,5th or 6th as you desire, handles impressively with its all stock suspension. Very stable and true, a one hander at all speeds, great brakes, all controls and functions are A1 all instruments work perfectly from the clock to the fuel gauge. The all original plastics and mounting tabs are in remarkable condition for the age of this bike and the quality of the original finish speaks for itself. There are a few hits and dings and the repaired crack in the left side tail fairing is the worst of it and it was repaired in a strong and structural manner. This era Honda motorcycle had a quality that made them the motorcycle of the year for many years running. 35000 miles on one of these is very low and you can find many out there with in excess of 150000 miles with zero issues, again, Do your research.
