This is not a clone. Real Shelby with real numbers and original documents and family history. Only 404 GT350 Convertibles were made in 1968. This car is in a league of its own, and should be restored as a concourse quality car. The quality of the car, and the parts will allow this car to be concourse quality. This car comes from a private collection of a well known Shelby and Mustang enthusiast family, in which one of their cars were in a magazine. This car is well documented and I have original titles dating back to 1981. All title can be seen in the photo albums above. The car left the Shelby plant and was shipped to Youngstown, Ohio. I have the invoice and the order form. The original VIN is stamped on the RH fender Apron, and the original dash tag is in place.The car was very highly optioned, and was Candy Apple Red with black deluxe interior. It still sports a lot of its original paint and its original interior and drivetrain. The car is in amazing condition, 99% rust free, and comes with a ton of very high dollar NOS shelby parts that you cannot get now that were collected for this car over the course of 30 years. The car also comes with many original parts, many that have already been refinished and are ready to go. Whoever buys this car will definitely need a truck and a trailer to haul the car and all of the parts. Look at all of the pictures in the albums above to see all of the years worth of NOS parts bought in mind to restore this car back to a concourse level. The car was in a minor front end collision back in the 70s. Thats why the NOS shelby front end parts and fenders were bought years ago. The front driver side apron and radiator support were replaced with NOS for parts. The original VIN stamp is on the passenger side apron. The original driver apron was changed and they didn't keep the apron or the original Shelby tag. Don't ask why, this was in the 70's so I have no idea. The main tag is there and original, the dash tag. I have a new Shelby tag for the driver side apron with the VIN on it. Identical to the original. The passenger side firewall to shock tower apron has a little wrinkle in it and the side cowl panel has some slight damage. Front of the car is square. Fenders in the pictures are aftermarket. I didn't want to unbox the NOS fenders. You will get the NOS fenders, not the aftermarket fenders. I have nothing to hide about this car and encourage anyone to call with questions or come inspect the vehicle for yourself. I want the buyer to be happy.
