This truck is in amazing original condition. Has one repaint in the wrong color, was originally green. Some detectable body work on the fenders but not failing. Bed wood is old 1X6 cedar on top of rotten plywood and needs replacing but not necessary if you like the look. Interior is near perfect with a replacement seat cover I'm sure. Seat sits well and everything works. The ignition key even works the door lock. I have the missing 2 trim pieces for the grill plus one spare and 2 new 6 volt halogen headlamps I haven't installed yet. Truck has all original glass but needs all new rubber. The tires in the pics were the old ones that came on the truck. I replaced them with brand new 10 ply period correct exact replacements. New tubes and new tube liners. they have 10 miles on them. And it has been asked if the windshield cranks out and if the wipers work. Yes the windshield cranks easily both side windows roll up and down as they should the wipers and heater work correctly. Also I inquired to Borg Warner / Delco Remy and per their records the model and date code on the generator and starter indicate they are original equipment parts and likely original to the truck. Dated October and November 1947.
