Year: 2004Make: PorscheModel: Cayenne SMileage: 175,449 (still increasing as we drive it)Exterior: GrayInterior: BlackTransmission: Automatic 6-SpeedEngine: 4.5L V8 Natural AspirationNotable items resolved on the car: *Early-2012 had a trans fluid flush, filter replacement and refill performed. *Late-2012 had the aluminum cooling pipe repair performed*Early-2014 had a new coolant expansion tank put in*Mid-2014 had a new battery put in.*Mid-2014 had a trans fluid flush, filter replacement and refill, crank position sensor replacement, and water pump replacement by a local independent Euro garage. *Late-2014 had the cardan shaft replaced with a unit from Colorado Drive ShaftEarly-2015 had front and back rotors and pads replaced, with new hardware all around.*Early-2016 had the rear hatch shocks and hood shock/strut replaced (but the rear ones are occasionally sagging again already (rant below))*Early-2017 had a driver side cam position sensor replaced. *Normal, routine service performed using synthetic oil and only premium unleaded fuel ever used. Noted issues captured in the pictures: Two of the pictures capture a little rust on the rear passenger door inside and outside. There are two pictures that capture a couple small spots on the rear hatch that have missing paint (not sure what these are from). There are a couple pictures of the passenger side rear bumper cover edge that has some damage in it. It is mostly cracked paint with a little poke/slice. It is nothing crazy extreme, but I want to try to disclose everything I possibly can about this car. I want you to be comfortable in the purchase knowing how it looks and how it is. Noted mechanical items that are present:Sometimes the transmission shifts hard between a couple gears, but it isn't a constantly happening thing. It really depends on how you are driving it actually. Smooth, normal driving and you probably would never notice the shifting thing. If you are ripping on it, you will get harder shifts from 2nd -3rd and sometimes from 4th - 5th shift. It presents as appearing like it went into neutral and revs out the engine high and then it can all of a sudden "jam" into the proper gear. A little time getting used to this and you will find it isn't something that you will encounter with any frequency. We don't let the fuel level get below 1/4 of a tank. The driver side fuel pump quit a few years ago and the Porsche forums say the passenger pump can't pick up fuel under 1/4 tank. I can't say if this is true, but we never ran out of gas following this rule. The car has duel fuel pumps is why it is still fully operational. Rear hatch shocks are letting the hatch fall again, as it did prior to me replacing the shocks, which are just over a year old. Very disappointed in the replacement parts, as I would have figured it would last longer. Mostly an annoyance thing, but it is irritating to fix it for such a short time. Overall it runs like a champ otherwise and its still a great car.Clear PA title in hand. Ready to go to the you, the happy new owner. NON SMOKER/ garage kept and adult owned car that was well maintained. Buyer will either need to pick up locally, or coordinate some form of shipping after successfully winning the auction. I will not ship and I will not accept your brother's, uncle's, friend's cashiers check that I have to first deposit money into your account and you magically overpay me for the car.
