1999 Mercedes SL600 with only 104k. No extra fees in my auction. Panoramic Glass Top is included. It came factory on this SL. Non smoker Maryland car with no evidence of accident damage. It sure is a great car and I see why they were $130,000 new and would compete with Supercars. I have had many V12 Mercedes and sure enjoy them. This one has been nice and consistent for the time I have had it. They are a complicated car due to the technology involved in making a V12 SL. The best way I can prove that this one is behaving is that last month I had emissions inspection done and it passed. Just had them do it again a few days ago and it passed. NYS has no way around this so this should give you a good feeling. The transmission is shifting great in all gears. The suspension goes up and down by buttons or automatically based on your speed. That is working very well. The soft top windows are cracked. I have a brand new $375 top that will be included but not installed. The top operation works. The air conditioning system is working great. The heat works properly and it has a rest feature (you select) that keeps the interior the selected temperature for 25 minutes after the car is shut down. The power locks, power windows and trunk release with one inch lift are working. The remote works. The traction control, abs system and anti slip works as it should. The brakes have factory black calipers and they look great. Plenty of pad on the front and rears. I had the 4 aftermarket 19 inch wheels made true and rebalanced. The rear tires are like new. The front ones have decent tread but nothing great. The alignment of the steering wheel and the way it drive shows it is aligned well. The leather is in nice shape with a nice leather smell. Non smoker car. The wood is shiny and dark. Cup holder wood is short because the wood handle to slide it is gone. The carpets are clean. The mats are nice and clean. I have the books and one key with fob. The Xenon headlights adjust to the suspension level and work properly. The fog lights work. Wiper blade is new. The glass has no stone star chips. Cabin filter and air filters are new. Emergency brake works. Heated seats work. The power seat functions are working The car has the orthopedic seats. I am not sure if they are working but it has it. I think the sensor for the SRS under the passenger seat is getting touchy because it will turn off the air bag on that side once in a while. (common issue I have seen and heard of on these) The exhaust system is all correct parts, complete and in nice shape. Remember that a salt free example is important due to the lines run through the car for all of the suspension, fuel, brakes ect. The bottom is SUPER clean. I like these because they have individual coil packs at $75 vs. $1100 per side. 12 spark plugs vs. 24 in some V12's. The battery is the correct size and is strong. The car has scratches on the passenger door and rear quarter from a key. The top of the drivers side quarter has clear coat lifting by the edge of the trunk lid. Otherwise it is clean. The rear left tail light has a slight hairline crack that I never noticed until I filmed it. The spare tire is full size and new. The tool kit, jack, cd changer with shuttle are all included. The compartment over the climate control sometimes won't close and stay. This car is a rocket and handles itself so nice on the road. There is no way to explain it. You have to experience this yourself. The torque will take your breath away. Around town it is a stunning touring car. It sure is nice to have a car that could go to the track and the next hour drive around town in total comfort. Hagerty Antique outfit has this on the top 10 future collectible car list. Also Hagerty will insure this with Collectible insurance since it is over 15 years old if it is being used as a collectible. They show $630 a year with full coverage at it's value of $12,700.
